Children and young adults should be watched more closely for suicidal behavior, especially during the first few months after starting medications. Further, it has been observed that anti-depressants can produce side-effects that worsen the symptoms of depression. Some of these side-effects include drowsiness, fatigue, sexual dysfunction, agitation, violent behavior etc.
