Interviewee: I have come from Hoshiarpur and my name is Sharanjit Kaur.

Interviewer: Ma'am, what health issues did you face that you had to contact Dr. Vikram Chauhan?

Interviewee: Actually the problem was about Ulcerative Colitis.

Interviewer: When was it first diagnosed, what were the symptoms you felt that told you are suffering from Ulcerative Colitis?

Interviewee: This problem started in 2009. First there was constipation and after sometime the blood also started oozing out and used to go to the toilet time & again.

Interviewer: How many times you used to pass stools in a day?

Interviewee: 10 to 12 times a day.

Interviewer: And along with them, there used to be bleeding.

Interviewee: Bleeding used to be quite heavy.

Interviewer: And from which places did you get the treatment done?

Interviewee: We took allopathic treatment from Hoshairpur, Jalandhar and from Chandigarh from PGI and after that we came here to meet Dr. Vikram Chauhan.

Interviewer: How much time did it take to get the treatment from here?

Interviewee: For full one year.

Interviewer: For full one year, now your problem has been completely solved?

Interviewee: Absolutely. Within a year, she was perfectly alright.

Interviewer: So you were treated for the whole year. Were those medicines purely Ayurvedic prescribed to you by Vikram sir and have you made any changes in your diet as well?

Interviewee: Yes, whatever the doctor asked, we followed his instructions precisely.

Interviewer: Sir, can you tell our viewers on what you have avoided in the diet?

Interviewee: It's a bit hard but.

Interviewer: Some important ones.

Interviewee: Don't have any sort of milk products, anything containing high spices and never have any heavy diet.

Interviewer: And some home remedies that we would like you to share with our viewers, like peel off pomegranate and do decoction.

Interviewee: Pomegranate juice, Coriander juice, leaves of Sheesham were also taken.

Interviewer: Since when have your Ulcerative Colitis been cured?

Interviewee: To around 3 and a half to 4 years.

Interviewer: It has been four years, it has been completely cured.

Interviewee: Yes and she is not taking almost any medicine.

Interviewee: Yeah, perfectly fine.

Interviewer: So now you are taking normal diet.

Interviewee: Absolutely normal but are scared that it might recur as I have suffered a lot, visited different doctors.

Interviewer: You took lots of allopathic treatment but got no relief.

Interviewee: Nope and the doctors had said that you need to take these medicines for your lifetime.

Interviewee: Just follow Dr. Vikram Chauhan's instructions, do as he said, you will definitely be fine. I used to think that I'll never get fine as I had to suffer a lot. At first the doctor never asked me to stop the medicines abruptly that I had with me from Chandigarh, but later he reduced the dose and after some time he asked me to discontinue those medicines.
